Sikandar Ka Muqaddar (Streaming on Netflix), directed by Neeraj Pandey, starts as a gripping crime drama but falters in delivering a satisfying punch. Jimmy Shergill shines as the determined police officer whose obsessive investigation into a robbery unravels lives. The intriguing setup promises much, but the predictable “whodunit” and overstretched narrative dilute the thrill of “how.” Despite solid performances and a compelling premise, the hasty climax leaves it feeling like an average crime show. Watchable yet underwhelming, it misses the sharp intensity of Neeraj Pandey’s standout works.
