Image - YouTube Bakaiti Season 2 — A Casual Watch, Nothing More Intro:  Bakaiti Season 2  is a Hindi comedy-drama produced by Dice Media for ZEE5. Set in Ghaziabad, the series returns to the Kataria family as they deal with financial troubles, family disagreements and changing personal ambitions. Sheeba Chaddha and Rajesh Tailang return as the middle-class parents, alongside Tanya Sharma and Aaditya Shukla. Review (90 Words): My experience with  Bakaiti Season 2  is quite similar to the first season . There isn't much here that makes it a must-watch, and you aren't missing anything great if you skip it. I certainly have higher expectations from Rajesh Tailang and Sheeba Chaddha, though their performances remain a reason to watch. The episode lengths work well for casual viewing, but tighter writing could have made a difference. At times, I wondered whether the writers themselves were clear about what emotions they wanted the audience to feel. For me, an averag...

Image - YouTube Pooja Meri Jaan — Movie Review Intro:   Pooja Meri Jaan  is a 2026 Hindi crime thriller directed by Navjot Gulati and co-directed by Vipasha Arvind. The film stars Mrunal Thakur, Huma Qureshi, Vikram Singh Chauhan and Vijay Raaz. It is currently streaming on ZEE5. Review (90 Words):  I picked up   Pooja Meri Jaan   for Mrunal Thakur, but its premise also caught my attention. How do men handle rejection? One may choose revenge, while another may take the extreme step of suicide. I liked the fact that the film attempts to explore this uncomfortable question. Unfortunately, the execution didn't keep me engaged. Knowing that the film was completed in 2022 also made me wonder if its treatment now feels dated. The subject is still relevant, but the storytelling didn't feel fresh enough for me.   Interesting premise, average execution. #PoojaMeriJaan #MrunalThakur #HumaQureshi #VijayRaaz #ZEE5 #HindiMovies #CrimeThriller #MovieReview #OTTMov...

Image - YouTube Sam Bahadur — Vicky Kaushal Becomes Sam Manekshaw Intro:  Sam Bahadur  is a 2023 Hindi biographical war drama directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film follows the life and military career of Sam Manekshaw, India's first Field Marshal, with Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role. Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub are also part of the cast. Review (90 Words):  What a transformation for Vicky Kaushal from   Raazi ! And perhaps that is also a great observation about Meghna Gulzar's work. In   Raazi , he plays someone on the other side of Sehmat's mission; here, he becomes Sam Manekshaw, a completely different personality. I liked how Vicky changes his body language, voice and mannerisms for the role. The film also gives you a sense of the man behind the military uniform. After watching   Talvar ,   Raazi   and now   Sam Bahadur , I can see Meghna's different approaches to real stories. For me, this...

Image - YouTube Ghamasaan Review – High Expectations, Low Impact Intro:  Ghamasaan  is a 2026 Hindi crime drama directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and based on the life and world of dacoit Dadua. The film stars Pratik Gandhi, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav and Ishita Dutta in key roles. It released on ZEE5 on 11 September 2026. Review (90 Words):  Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and starring Arshad Warsi and Pratik Gandhi — this was an easy picking for me. But as they say, you are doomed when you have high expectations.   Ghamasaan   has the right ingredients and some good sequences, but somehow doesn't come together as strongly as I expected. The beginning takes time, and the middle portions feel stretched. There is enough action, but the excitement doesn't stay for long. For me, this is not among Tigmanshu Dhulia's better films. Watch it, but keep your expectations low. #Ghamasaan #GhamasaanReview #TigmanshuDhulia #PratikGandhi #ArshadWarsi #RajpalYadav #HindiCinema #Crime...

Image - YouTube Bandar (2025) Review – Lord Bobby Shines in This Uncomfortable Anurag Kashyap Film Intro:  Bandar , also released internationally as   Monkey in a Cage , is a Hindi crime thriller directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee. Inspired by a real-life incident, the film stars Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad and Raj B. Shetty. It is currently streaming on ZEE5. Review (90 Words):  I always have high expectations from an Anurag Kashyap film, and  Bandar  didn't quite reach that level for me. But the detailing is impressive and the acting is even better. Bobby Deol is outstanding, and the supporting cast also deserves attention. I watched it a few days before writing this because I wanted to process the film, and I even went back to a few scenes. The police station scene reminded me of  Ugly . The film is slow, and that may test your patience, but it also feels deliberate. Watch it withou...

Review (90 Words):  Vaalvi   is a very interesting story that keeps you engaged for most of its runtime. It has an innovative treatment with multiple twists, and a serious plot is cleverly mixed with dark, funny moments. The film manages to hold attention with something happening in almost every scene. Performances by all actors are strong and support the narrative well. There are a few minor issues, but they can be igno...

The digital detox idea shows how communication, emotions, and togetherness change when screens are taken away. Starring Sheeba Chaddha, Rajesh Tailang, Tanya Sharma, and Aaditya Shukla, the series offers some relatable moments but struggles with awkward punchlines and uneven execution. While its short episodes (around 20 minutes each) make it an easy watch, it lacks the warmth and finesse of better shows like  Gullak .   Logout – A Digital Trap We Can’t Escape Logout  is a sharp cyber thriller starring Babil Khan, exploring the dark side of our smartphone addiction. The story follows Pratyush Dua, a social media influencer, whose life unravels after his phone is stolen. Babil Khan delivers a gripping solo performance, portraying paranoia and digital helplessness convincingly. The film smartly touches on data privacy, online obsession, and digital chaos. Directed by Sudhir Mishra, the series attempts to capture the essence of investigative journalism but lacks impact. While the cast is strong, their potential remains underutilized. The storytelling misses the tension needed for a gripping thriller, making it lean more toward investigative drama. Hisaab Barabar: Promising Concept, Poor Execution Hisaab Barabar attempts to expose systemic corruption through the lens of a relatable railway ticket checker, played brilliantly by R. Madhavan. While the concept and societal relevance are appreciated, the execution falls flat. The film’s uneven tone, swinging between satire and flimsiness, alienates its audience. Madhavan’s honest portrayal is the sole saving grace, but weak writing, uninspiring direction, and lackluster twists drag the film down. Despite its potential, this satire fails to entertain or engage, making it a missed opportunity. #HisaabBarabar #RMadhavan #Bollywood #SatiricalComedy #BankingScam #AshwniDhir #MissedOpportunity #BollywoodReview #SocialRelevance #WeakScreenplay #RelatableConcept #MovieReview Directed By – Ashwni Dhir Release Date –  January 2025  Streaming Partner – Zee5

Despatch , streaming on ZEE5, explores investigative journalism’s decay through the lens of Joy (Manoj Bajpayee), a flawed journalist entangled in danger. Directed by Kanu Behl, the film attempts a gripping narrative inspired by J Dey’s murder but falters with a disjointed plot and underdeveloped characters. While Bajpayee’s stellar performance anchors the drama, the thrills remain absent, and the tension feels confined to his expressions. The promising start gives way to prolonged subplots, losing its grip. Watch it for Bajpayee’s craft, but  Scoop  captures this theme with more depth.     #Thriller #HindiCinema #OTTRelease #JournalismOnScreen #IndianMovies #CrimeStories #Despatch #ManojBajpayee #CrimeDrama #InvestigativeJournalism #ZEE5 #KanuBehl Created By – Kanu Behl Release Date –  December 2024 Streaming Partner – Zee5

Mithya: The Darker Chapter  struggles to meet the intensity of its first season, despite Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani reprising their roles with dedication. The series revisits the rivalry between Juhi and Rhea, now complicated by their newfound connection as half-sisters. However, the storytelling relies too heavily on forced flashbacks and cliffhangers, making the plot feel disjointed rather than suspenseful. Attempting both psychological thriller and murder mystery elements, this season falters with unconvincing twists, leaving the once-promising narrative a bit lackluster.   #mithyaseason2 #mithyathedarkerchapter #MithyaOnZEE5 #ZEE5 #humaqureshi #humasquereshi #psychologicalthriller #whodunit #AvantikaDassani #RajitKapur Directed by –  Rohan Sippy Release Date –  November 2024 Streaming Partner – Zee5

Farrey  on ZEE5 starts with an intriguing premise, exploring class disparity and the pressures of academic success. The film follows an orphan genius who, after securing a scholarship to an elite school, gets pulled into a cheating racket by her wealthy peers. While the storyline has potential, it fails to fully deliver due to weak character development and a rushed narrative. The lack of suspense and emotional depth leaves viewers disengaged, making it a largely forgettable experience despite the relevant themes it touches upon.   Director – Soumendra Padhi Release Date – November 2023 Streaming Partner – Zee5 #Farrey #ZEE5 #MovieReview #AcademicPressure #ClassDisparity

The story revolves around an ambitious South Indian woman marrying a Punjabi chef in Kerala, set against a matriarchal backdrop. The initial setup and character development are promising, but the film loses its charm as the plot becomes rushed and forced. While there are some good moments, the movie overall is a disappointment, with conflicts feeling contrived just to move the narrative forward.   Director – Vandana Kataria Release Date – September 2024 Streaming Partner – Zee5 #LoveSitara #ZEE5 #RomanticDrama #IndianCinema #MixedCulture  #shobhitadhulipala #sonalikulkarni
