Dhadak2

Image - YouTube Dhadak 2 Review: Strong Performances, Weak Storytelling in a Socially Relevant Drama Intro: Dhadak 2  (2025), directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, is a spiritual sequel to  Dhadak  (2018) and a remake of the acclaimed Tamil film  Pariyerum Perumal . Starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, the film explores love, caste, and societal barriers. Shot in Bhopal and now streaming on Netflix, it attempts to combine social commentary with mainstream storytelling, though the results remain mixed. 90-Word Review:  I hadn’t seen  Dhadak  but having watched  Sairaat , I expected  Dhadak 2  to carry that intensity. The movie opens with Saurabh Sachdeva in a striking scene, and the first half is engaging. Siddhant Chaturvedi surprises with a strong performance (first-half), supported well by Vipin Kumar Sharma and Anubha Fatehpura. Yet post-interval, the film loses its ...

MATERIALISTS

Image - YouTube Materialists: Love, Class & Choices in Modern NYC 90-Word Review:  Materialists  on Netflix isn’t your regular rom-com—it’s a polished, thoughtful take on modern relationships. Celine Song directs Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans, and Pedro Pascal in a triangle where love collides with money, class, and emotional need. Dakota shines as Lucy, a top matchmaker who must face her own contradictions. Chris brings grit, Pedro adds charm, and together they deliver emotional nuance. While pacing drags at times and the story feels predictable, the film’s realism, maturity, and reflective tone make it more meaningful than formulaic romances. Review:  Materialists  (Netflix, 2025) directed by Celine Song is a refreshing yet sobering look at how love, money, and identity intersect in modern dating culture. The story follows Lucy (Dakota Johnson), a successful New York City matchmaker who believes in compatibility metrics, appearances, and financial stability. Her ...

PARAMSUNDARI

Image - YouTube   Param Sundari – Love, Apps & Kerala Vibes Review:  Param Sundari  (2025), starring  Sidharth Malhotra  and  Janhvi Kapoor , is a light-hearted  Bollywood romantic comedy  directed by Tushar Jalota. The story of a Delhi boy finding his soulmate via an AI app leads to a Kerala girl, giving us startup flavor, AI twists, and Kerala’s scenic backdrops. While the  screenplay feels thin  and chemistry lacks spark, the breezy narrative, music, and visuals keep it pleasant. It’s no genre-changer, but for rom-com fans,  Param Sundari  is quite close to one-time watch.  #ParamSundariReview #SidharthMalhotra #JanhviKapoor #BollywoodRomCom #KeralaTourism #Bollywood2025 #RomanticComedy #BollywoodMovies #AIandLove #LightheartedCinema #sanjaykapoor #manjotsingh #abhishekbanerjee

Aap Jaisa Koi – Love, Language & the Weight of Patriarchy Aap Jaisa Koi  (2025) is a charming romantic drama streaming on  Netflix , starring  R. Madhavan  as a quiet Sanskrit professor and  Fatima Sana Shaikh  as a lively French teacher. While the story is familiar, the direction is refreshing and the visuals—especially Kolkata in the monsoon—are stunning. Madhavan is outstanding, carrying much of the emotional weight. The second half dives into themes of  patriarchy  and personal freedom. Though predictable at times, the film’s soulfulness, subtle writing, and cultural richness make it a meaningful watch.
