TOASTER

Image - YouTube Toaster (2026) Review – A Quirky Dark Comedy, Average Overall but Saved by a Surprise Character Intro: Toaster  is a  2026 Hindi black comedy thriller  directed by  Vivek Daschaudary , starring  Rajkummar Rao  and  Sanya Malhotra . Released on  Netflix on 15 April 2026 , the film follows a man’s unusual obsession with a toaster he once gifted, leading to a chain of chaotic and bizarre events. Inspired by a real-life story, the film attempts to blend dark humour with crime and absurdity. REVIEW  (90 - WORDs) I picked  Toaster  mainly for Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, and it offers dark, dry humour with an uneasy tone. The film is average overall with an unusual idea and tone, and it will make you laugh in bits and pieces. It also lost me at a point where the character crosses a line, which I personally didn’t like. I even paused it and completed it later. However, the second half re-introduces a character w...

InspectorZende

Image
Image - YouTube Movie Review: Inspector Zende (2025) Streaming on Netflix,  Inspector Zende  is a comedy thriller inspired by true events and the infamous chase for serial killer Charles Sobhraj. Manoj Bajpayee shines as Inspector Madhukar Zende, while Jim Sarbh plays Carl Bhojraj with flair. Unfortunately, the film struggles to balance crime and comedy. The writing doesn’t dig deep into the psychology of its subject, nor does it fully deliver laughs. Despite a promising premise,  Inspector Zende  feels uneven — occasionally witty, but largely formulaic. A missed opportunity for a sharp thriller-comedy. #InspectorZende #NetflixIndia #ManojBajpayee #JimSarbh #BollywoodThriller #MovieReview #ComedyThriller #sachinkhedekar #girijaoak #bhalchandrakadam #vaibhavmangle
