hasee toh phasee

Strictly a morning show only!!! I could not figure out why this title ... There have been runaway brides and then there is runaway sister of the bride, apparently a strange point but the hero of the movie is Parineeti, who is master of all things, a showcase often used for the first movie. She is an engineer, doctor, dancer, singer, automotive expert, the best thing though is she talks more through eyes. Initially the movie is very fast, so fast that it covers 10 years in 10 minutes, and then it slows down till the intermission until it finds the plot. It revolves around story of marriage of an emotional dhakkan, played by good looking Siddharth Malhotra (except for initial few scenes and songs with uncut hair) and a sweet looking Adah Sharma (bijli ka xxxx taar) who is continuously pressing the emotional dhakkan monetarily. Their break up - patch up story is of 7 years which takes a sudden turn in 3 days when the sister of Adah Sharma comes back in the house / movie af...

The Lunchbox

The Lunchbox: A Tale of Hope and Serendipity The Lunchbox is a must-watch, directed by debutant Ritesh Batra, it’s a brilliant  out-of-the-box idea. Irrfan Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Nimrat Kaur  deliver exceptional performances, with Bharti Achrekar's voice adding charm.  The film’s silence speaks volumes, serving as a powerful background score.  Though labeled a love story, it's more about hope and how it shapes our  future and present. The memorable dialogue, “kabhi kabhi galat train bhi  sahi jagah le jaati hai,” stays with you. The ending leaves you restless  yet intrigued—perfect in its own way. TALAASH

T alaash: A Gripping Exploration of Grief and Mystery Reema Kagti’s  Talaash: The Answer Lies Within  is a slow-burn psychological thriller that delves into loss, guilt, and human connection. Aamir Khan excels as a grief-stricken cop solving a mysterious accident with the help of Kareena Kapoor’s enigmatic Rosie. Rani Mukerji adds emotional depth as his grieving wife. The haunting atmosphere, supported by Ram Sampath’s evocative music, builds tension. While minor inconsistencies exist, the film’s exploration of trauma and redemption is powerful.  Talaash  demands patience but rewards with a thought-provoking, emotional journey. #Talaash #PsychologicalThriller #AamirKhan #ReemaKagti #BollywoodCinema #KareenaKapoor #RaniMukerji #BollywoodMovies #MustWatch Direc ted By –  Reema Katgi Release Date –  November 2012  Streaming Partner – Netflix Another Slow Burner -  The Buckingham Murders
