dedh ishqiya

In my school / college time, any must see movie we used to refer as it is a part of syllabus / course, so it can’t be missed. Same goes for dedh ishqiya, it can’t be missed.

Not a so called sequel barring the name, though the name kept its reputation. While Ishqiya was revenge set up in dark, dedh ishqiya is dark comedy. Vidya Balan was definitely missed in the sequel.

The acting and screenplay is quite acute and slightly pungent so much that the story is of course relevant but marginally important.

Babban and Khalu return though Babban returns with more intensity than Khalu, typical Bhopali accent and first scene... blank screen voice narrating parrot story was the perfect start followed by natural laughter of Mushtaq Bhai (sar katu ya xxxxx )

Khalu Jaan’s dialogue that “yaad aaye kahan to itelaah kar dijiyega, hum bhi kab se doondh rahe hai apne aap ko” was just the just statement. Although is baar Khalu Jaan ka ishq sacha tha fir bhi chxxxxx ban gaye.

The 7 stages of Love ... Dilkashi, Unns, Mohabbat, Akidat, Ibadat, Junoon, Maut and then Babban’s innocence...... Isme xxx to reh hi gaya

The impact of phonetics while pronouncing Iftekhaar was amazing.

Usually the chemistry of hero – heroine is talked about in a movie, but here the physics and chemistry of babban-khalu is to be watched out.

Jaan Muhammad over night fight scene is amazing.
The penultimate train sequence is also amazing.

Can’t afford to skip Huma Quereshi.... she is just drop-dead gorgeous

It is different movie for different people and not the one that belongs to the crore clubs....

Looking forward for Dhai Ishqiya
