Mithya: The Darker Chapter struggles to meet the intensity of its first season, despite Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani reprising their roles with dedication. The series revisits the rivalry between Juhi and Rhea, now complicated by their newfound connection as half-sisters. However, the storytelling relies too heavily on forced flashbacks and cliffhangers, making the plot feel disjointed rather than suspenseful. Attempting both psychological thriller and murder mystery elements, this season falters with unconvincing twists, leaving the once-promising narrative a bit lackluster.
