Back in Action (2025) – A Forgettable Comeback

Seth Gordon’s Back in Action, streaming on Netflix, promised a high-energy action-comedy but delivers a forgettable ride. Cameron Diaz’s return to the screen deserved more than this generic and sloppy script that fails to utilize its talented cast, including Jamie Foxx and Andrew Scott. While it offers some mindless entertainment for a lazy afternoon, it lacks wit and excitement. The action is passable, but the comedy feels forced, making it just another disposable Netflix flick.
