Killer Heat on Prime Video is a contemporary noir thriller set against the stunning backdrop of Crete, Greece. The plot follows an expat hired to investigate a suspicious death within a wealthy, jealousy-ridden family. While the setting is breathtaking, the story feels predictable. A reveal early on gives away the direction of the film, and seasoned viewers of noir mysteries will likely foresee the unfolding events. The film’s strength lies in its cinematography—Greece’s beauty adds depth to an otherwise average plot. Worth watching for the visuals, but the story lacks real surprises.
