The Diary, directed by Emma Bertran and Alba Gill, follows Olga, who, after her divorce, moves into a new house with her daughter, only to encounter unsettling paranormal events. She discovers the diary of a serial killer in the attic, leading her on a quest to understand her connection to it, with the help of a graphologist. While the movie runs under 90 minutes and isn’t an intense thriller, it provides a few chilling moments. The ending is surprising, making it an okay watch with a fresh angle on the thriller genre.
