The Union

The Union, directed by Julian Farino and starring Halle Berry and Mark Wahlberg, feels like a completely unnecessary addition to the action genre. Despite the star power of an Oscar winner and nominee, the film offers nothing new or refreshing. The predictable plot and lackluster direction make it a tedious watch, best suited as background noise while doing chores. Farino’s effort fails to captivate or excite, turning what could have been an engaging actioner into a forgettable experience. Ultimately, The Union falls flat.
