Hisaab Barabar: Promising Concept, Poor Execution

Hisaab Barabar attempts to expose systemic corruption through the lens of a relatable railway ticket checker, played brilliantly by R. Madhavan. While the concept and societal relevance are appreciated, the execution falls flat. The film’s uneven tone, swinging between satire and flimsiness, alienates its audience. Madhavan’s honest portrayal is the sole saving grace, but weak writing, uninspiring direction, and lackluster twists drag the film down. Despite its potential, this satire fails to entertain or engage, making it a missed opportunity.
